From Noon – 2 PM I’ll be appearing with 5 other authors at the Grand Opening Celebration for the new BARBARA’S BOOKSTORE in Vernon Hills, IL. At 7 PM I will re-appear solo.
Book Signings are in the offing for me during the first half of December. The excitement starts Sunday the 2nd at The Book Market at Hangar One (Glenview, IL) where I’ll be meeting and greeting, and signing books from 11 AM to 3:30 PM. “Hangar One” comes from the historical fact that this book store and the retail community surrounding it are located in the middle of what used to be Naval Air Station (NAS) Glenview. Making this extra special for me is that I formerly served as a Photographer’s Mate in the Naval Air Reserve at NAS Glenview. The photo lab was in Hangar One, just opposite of where The Book Market now stands.
Come midmonth, Saturday the 15th, I’m honored to be participating in the Grand Opening of the newest Barbara’s Bookstore. With a jazz band playing in the background of “Barbara’s Bookstore Hawthorn Center,” there will be Book Signings by me at 2 PM and 7PM for Heartstrings in B-flat Minor. This is all happening in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
